Visa Instructions
When visiting Egypt, ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.
All EU passport holders require a visa to enter Egypt. Holders of diplomatic and service passports must obtain a visa before entering the country. Regular passport holders can obtain this visa either through the electronic visa (e-visa) system or upon arrival at the airport.
Single-entry tourist visas cost $25 USD, while multiple-entry visas are priced at $60 USD. If you choose to obtain your visa on arrival, have the correct amount of cash in a major foreign currency (such as Euros, US dollars, or British pounds) ready to expedite your entry. Ensure you have your valid passport, travel itinerary, e-visa printout (applicable), hotel bookings, and registration confirmation readily available.
